The artisanal eco-friendly shoe brand Cydwoq was born in 1996 in Burbank, California, it's pronounced “Sidewalk”. It is sought after for its astonishingly supple shoes with high-end vegetable-tanned leathers and water-based glue only, a process that makes each pair durable, respectful of the skin and very flexible to fit perfectly the shape of each foot. The vintage style of Cydwoq is quite unique in its kind, we feel a pure authenticity in the search for well-being of walking with a signature aesthetic, the leather soles are molded by hand to accompany the natural mechanics of the foot with a barefoot comfort, very beneficial for posture and back health. The foot remains in contact with the ground freely with just the right support necessary for down-to-earth comfort. This family business has managed to maintain 100% artisanal production, each pair is made by hand in their own factory and it is the founder, Rafi Balouzian who designs his collections of avant-garde shoes, shaped in an almost architectural way with voluptuous curves.
