All our shoes are carefully selected and prepared with attention, in a spirit of quality, transparency and respect.
If you have any questions, our team is here to help via the Contact page.
1.1 Definitions
• The Site: the website www.PICK-A-SHOE.com, operated by the company BELIFT (hereinafter referred to as “PICK A SHOE” or “the Site”).
• The Customer: any natural person, of legal age, acting as a consumer and placing an order for personal use on the Site.
1.2 Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of Sale
These Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&Cs) define the respective rights and obligations of PICK A SHOE and the Customer in the context of online sales of the products offered on the Site.
Any confirmed order implies full, complete and unconditional acceptance of the T&Cs in force at the time of purchase. PICK A SHOE reserves the right to amend them at any time; the applicable T&Cs are those in effect at the time of order confirmation.
If you do not agree to these conditions, we kindly invite you not to proceed with a purchase. Access to the Site is strictly reserved for personal, non-commercial use.
1.3 Site Ownership
The website www.PICK-A-SHOE.com is owned, published, and operated by the company BELIFT, a French SARL registered with the RCS of Dax under the number SIRET 538 437 989 00030, with its registered office at 460 route de l’Escourtille, 40230 Saint-Geours-de-Maremne, France.
You can contact us by phone: +33 (0)9 73 67 61 71 or via the online contact form accessible through the Contact page of the Site.
1.4 Intellectual Property
All content available on the Site (text, visuals, photos, logos, videos, databases, design, etc.) is protected by French and international intellectual property laws.
Any reproduction, representation, modification, distribution or exploitation, in whole or in part, of the Site or its elements, by any means whatsoever, without prior written authorization from PICK A SHOE is strictly prohibited and shall constitute an act of infringement.
2.1 Account Creation
To place an order on www.PICK-A-SHOE.com, the Customer must have a customer account. This account can be created during the first purchase by providing accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.
2.2 Order Process
To order a product from the Site, the Customer must follow these steps:
– Add the desired items to the cart;
– Proceed to checkout and fill in the necessary billing and shipping information;
– Verify the accuracy of the order on the summary page before proceeding to payment.
Once the order has been validated and paid for, the Customer acknowledges having read and accepted these Terms and Conditions of Sale without reservation.
This validation constitutes full contractual agreement, in accordance with Article 1127-1 of the French Civil Code and Article L.221-14 of the Consumer Code, without the need for an additional checkbox.
In compliance with Article L.221-5 of the Consumer Code, the T&Cs are accessible at any time via the Site footer and can be consulted before any order is confirmed.
The Customer’s payment confirmation serves as an electronic signature and constitutes irrevocable acceptance of the sales contract.
If an error is detected after confirmation, the Customer may contact PICK A SHOE by email. Modifications are only possible if the order has not yet been shipped.
2.3 Order Cancellation
By confirming their order, the Customer is responsible for verifying all information carefully before payment (items, quantities, prices, possible import fees).
Each confirmed order incurs immediate costs (transaction fees, logistics, preparation).
If the Customer requests a cancellation before shipment, PICK A SHOE reserves the right to apply administrative fees, which will be deducted from the refund.
This policy reflects the actual costs incurred by PICK A SHOE from the moment the order is validated, and encourages Customers to ensure they have all the necessary information and have properly assessed any related costs—especially regarding the return policy, shipping times, and potential customs charges.
2.4 Product Availability
Items are offered while stocks last.
If an item is not in stock in our warehouse, an additional shipping time is indicated on the product page near the “Add to Cart” button.
Despite the utmost care taken in managing our inventory, a stock error may occasionally occur. If an item ordered is no longer available after payment, the Customer will be notified by email as soon as possible. A refund or an alternative solution will then be proposed.
PICK A SHOE cannot be held liable for a model being discontinued by a manufacturer or for the unavailability of a product.
2.5 Shipping Times
PICK A SHOE aims to ship any order marked as “in stock” the same day, provided it is confirmed:
– before 12:00 p.m. (Paris time) for DHL shipments,
– before 2:00 p.m. for other carriers,
from Monday to Friday (business days in France).
Shipping times vary depending on whether items are in stock or on order from the manufacturer:
• Items in stock: shipped within 24 business hours after payment confirmation (excluding weekends and public holidays).
• Pre-orders or made-to-order items: the expected delay is stated on the product page (typically 7 days to 5 weeks).
Important: the shipping time refers to the time required to prepare and hand over the parcel to the carrier. Delivery time depends on the shipping method and the destination country.
2.6 Delivery Times and Conditions
Delivery times vary depending on the destination country and the carrier chosen at checkout. For estimated delivery times and rates per country, please refer to our dedicated page : SHIPPING
It is important to distinguish:
• The shipping time, which refers to the preparation of the order (see Article 2.5),
• From the delivery time, which refers to the carrier’s transport time after the order has been dispatched.
The delivery estimates provided by carriers are for information purposes only. PICK A SHOE cannot be held responsible for delays once the parcel has been handed over to the carrier within the promised timeframe. No refund or compensation will be granted for delays beyond our control.
2.6.1 Shipping Address
The Customer agrees to provide an accurate, complete, and clearly written delivery address. In case of error or incomplete information making delivery impossible, the reshipping costs will be fully borne by the Customer.
If the parcel is returned due to an incorrect or unclaimed address, a new shipment can only be made once the reshipping costs have been paid.
If the Customer chooses not to have the parcel reshipped, the initial shipping costs will not be refunded. In addition, any return fees charged by the carrier will also be deducted from the refund.
2.6.2 Parcel Not Picked Up at Pickup Point or Post Office
If the Customer does not collect their parcel within the time frame provided by the carrier, it will be automatically returned to PICK A SHOE. The Customer may then:
Request a new shipment, provided they pay the new shipping fees,
or request a refund, minus the original shipping fees and any return charges invoiced by the carrier.
2.6.3 Refusal of parcel upon delivery
If the Customer chooses to refuse the parcel upon delivery (in particular to avoid paying import duties, due to absence at the time of delivery, or for any other reason), the parcel should automatically be returned to PICK A SHOE. In such case, the initial shipping costs, the return fees charged by the carrier, and any additional fees will be fully deducted from the refund.
The refund will only be processed once the returned parcel has been received in our premises. In the event of loss or failure to return the parcel by the carrier, PICK A SHOE shall not issue any refund and the Customer will bear full responsibility.
2.6.4 Parcel Marked as Delivered but Not Received
If tracking shows that the parcel was delivered but the Customer claims they did not receive it, an investigation will be launched with the carrier.
No refund or reshipment will be processed until the investigation is complete.
PICK A SHOE reserves the right to refuse a refund if the delivery is confirmed by the carrier and no internal error is found.
2.6.5 Change of delivery address after shipment
PICK A SHOE guarantees delivery to the address provided by the Customer when placing the order, as indicated on the initially issued shipping label.
Any change of address requested by the Customer after the parcel has been shipped (for example, directly with the carrier or via a tracking link) is made under the sole responsibility of the Customer.
From that point on, PICK A SHOE cannot be held responsible for any delay, loss, delivery error, or lack of tracking update. In case of an incident, any claim or request for parcel location must be made directly by the Customer with the carrier.
2.7 Receipt and Verification
Upon receiving the order, the Customer must check the condition and conformity of the items.
Any issue (wrong item, size, visible defect) must be reported within 14 days via our contact form.
If the error is confirmed, an appropriate solution will be proposed.
2.8 Lost, delayed or misrouted shipments
Despite the care taken in preparing and shipping orders, delays or irregularities may occasionally occur within the carrier’s network. A parcel may be considered delayed, misrouted or potentially lost when tracking updates stop or when the parcel does not reach its destination within the usual delivery timeframe. In such cases, an investigation will be opened with the carrier responsible for the shipment. The carrier may require 15 to 30 working days (or the timeframe defined by the postal operator) to complete their investigation and provide an official conclusion. During this investigation period, the parcel cannot be considered officially lost. A parcel is considered officially lost only once the carrier confirms the loss following completion of the investigation.
2.8.1 Delivery delays
In the event of a delay compared to the delivery timeframe initially indicated by the carrier, the Customer is invited to contact customer service so that a verification can be carried out. If the parcel is not delivered within the estimated timeframe, a trace request will be opened with the carrier. The carrier may require several working days to conduct their investigations and provide an official conclusion. During this investigation period, the parcel cannot be considered lost. A parcel is considered officially lost only once the carrier confirms the loss following completion of the investigation. In such a case, the merchant will proceed with the appropriate resolution in accordance with applicable legislation, which may include sending a replacement item or issuing a refund. No additional compensation will be granted in the event of delivery delays.
2.8.2 Return shipments
2.8.3 Return shipments sent with a carrier chosen by the Customer
When a return is made without using the return label provided by the merchant, including cases where such label is not available for certain destinations, the return shipment remains under the Customer’s responsibility until it is received by the merchant. The Customer is responsible for arranging the return shipment, selecting the carrier, monitoring the tracking and handling any claim with the carrier in the event of loss, delay or damage occurring during transport. No refund can be issued until the returned parcel has been received and inspected by the merchant.
2.9 Force Majeure
In the event of force majeure or any external, unforeseeable, and irresistible event preventing the fulfilment of PICK A SHOE’s obligations, the execution of the contract shall be suspended for as long as the impediment lasts.
If the situation becomes permanent, the contract will be terminated by operation of law, and the Customer will be notified by email.
PICK A SHOE cannot be held liable or considered at fault for any delay or non-performance resulting from a case of force majeure (e.g. strikes, postal or transport disruptions, health crises, supplier unavailability, etc.).
For detailed procedures, return conditions, timelines, and prepaid label fees, please refer to our dedicated page: RETURNS & REFUNDS
3.1. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the Customer has a legal right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 calendar days from the date of receipt, without having to provide a reason.
This right applies to discounted or sale items as well, provided that the conditions listed below are met.
3.2. Return procedure
If one or more items in the order do not meet the Customer’s expectations, they may be returned for a refund (excluding shipping fees) or an exchange (subject to availability).
Return shipping costs are the Customer’s responsibility. To simplify the process, PICK A SHOE offers a prepaid return label (available in selected countries), the cost of which will be deducted from the refund. (See return label rates.)
The Customer may also choose to return the item(s) using their own carrier, to the following address only:
PICK A SHOE
460 route de l’Escourtille
40230 Saint-Geours-de-Maremne
FRANCE
Online return procedure:
1. Log in to your account: section MY ACCOUNT > MY ORDERS
2. Click on “DETAILS” for the order in question
3. Select the item(s) to return, indicate the reason for the return, then click “REQUEST A RETURN”
Once the request has been submitted online, the Customer will receive an email response from our customer service team within 24 business hours, including the return instructions and the return label if applicable.
3.3. Return conditions
Returned items must meet the following conditions:
• Unworn, in new condition, with no signs of use
• In their original box with all accompanying items
• Properly packaged to protect the shoebox (no tape or writing directly on the box)
Any item returned incomplete or damaged may be refused or subject to a flat 15% deduction from the refund, following prior notice to the Customer.
3.4. Refunds
Once the return has been received and inspected, the refund will be processed within 6 business days using the original method of payment. A confirmation email will be sent once the refund has been issued.
3.5. Exchanges
Two options are available:
• New order: The Customer may place a new order for the desired item and return the original one. The refund will be processed once the return is received, minus the prepaid return label fee if used.
• Direct exchange: Upon request (by email or phone), PICK A SHOE can reserve the desired item while awaiting the return (subject to availability) and provide a secure payment link for any price difference and/or return shipping costs.
3.6. Late returns
Returns made beyond 14 days after the delivery of the order or from its availability at a pickup point will be refused.
If a return is sent after this period without prior agreement, it will not be processed. If the Customer wishes to retrieve the returned items, return shipping costs will be at their expense. No refund or credit will be issued in such cases.
3.7. Returns from abroad
For returns from a country outside of France, the Customer must clearly mark “RETURNED GOODS” on the shipping label or customs declaration.
This label helps avoid customs fees upon entry into France, which should not apply in the case of a simple return. PICK A SHOE cannot be held liable for customs charges resulting from an incorrect declaration but will assist in resolving the issue with the carrier and French customs when possible.
PICK A SHOE is committed to more responsible commerce and reducing the environmental impact of excessive returns. As part of this effort, a return limitation policy has been implemented, as detailed in our online Ethical & Quality Charter.
3.1.1. Ethical and sustainable approach
Each order involves careful preparation, specific packaging, and transportation—each with a real human and ecological cost. PICK A SHOE encourages customers to make mindful purchases, thoroughly review product details and sizing, and contact our team for personalized advice before placing an order. This approach helps limit unnecessary returns while maintaining a high-quality and responsible shopping experience.
3.1.2. Maximum number of returns allowed
In accordance with our Ethical & Quality Charter and these Terms and Conditions, a maximum of two (2) returns is allowed per customer account. Beyond this limit, the customer account will be temporarily suspended, and a notification will invite the customer to contact the PICK A SHOE team for a personalized discussion. A message will appear upon login prompting the customer to reach out. This pause allows for constructive dialogue and a review of the return policy moving forward.
3.1.3. Resuming orders after suspension
After this first suspension, the customer may place new orders again, provided they first communicate with customer service. Delivery conditions remain unchanged. However, if another return is made:
• a flat €30 return fee will automatically be deducted from the refund (in addition to the prepaid return label cost, if used),
• and the account will be permanently blocked.
3.1.4. Permanent account block
If, following reactivation, another return is made, the account will be permanently disabled upon receipt of the parcel. The customer will no longer be able to place orders on PICK-A-SHOE.com.
Any attempt to circumvent this measure—by creating a new account or using a different identity—will result in the immediate blocking of the new account and cancellation of any associated orders without notice.
3.1.5. Good faith clause
This policy aims to strike a fair balance between quality service, ecological commitments, and business sustainability. It is not applied automatically but based on an individual assessment of the customer’s order history. PICK A SHOE reserves the right to adapt its decision in a spirit of goodwill and mutual respect.
4.1. Displayed prices
The prices of items offered on the website www.PICK-A-SHOE.com are indicated in euros (€), all taxes included (TTC), including the applicable French VAT (20%).
They do not include delivery costs, which are specified at checkout and may vary depending on the country of destination and the chosen shipping method.
Displayed prices may change over time; however, items are invoiced based on the rate in effect at the time the order is confirmed.
4.2. Price validity
The price indicated in the order confirmation is the final price, expressed with all applicable taxes, including VAT applicable on the day of the order for shipments from France.
For orders shipped to a country outside the European Union, the price is understood to be exclusive of customs duties, local taxes, or possible import fees. These remain the responsibility of the Customer (see Article 5).
4.3. Accepted payment methods
The website www.PICK-A-SHOE.com accepts the following payment methods:
• Bank cards (Carte Bleue, Visa, Mastercard)
• American Express
• Apple Pay
• PayPal
The 4-installment payment option offered via PayPal is a service managed exclusively by PayPal. PICK A SHOE is not involved in the application process or payment schedule and cannot be held responsible for any refusals or disputes related to this payment method.
All payments are secure and processed through certified platforms using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption standards.
4.4. Transaction security
Payment data is never stored by the Site. Transactions are handled by our certified providers ensuring optimal protection.
5.1. Applicable regulations
The website www.PICK-A-SHOE.com is operated from France. Any order shipped outside mainland France may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, or other fees imposed by the destination country.
In such cases, the Customer is considered the official importer of the purchased products. They are solely responsible for paying any such fees and for complying with all declarations or formalities required by local authorities. PICK A SHOE has no control over these charges and cannot estimate their amount or enforceability.
5.2. Price display
All prices displayed on the Site are in euros (€), inclusive of all taxes (VAT included at the current French rate of 20%). This price remains applicable to all orders, regardless of the country of delivery.
No automatic price adjustment is applied for shipments outside the European Union.
5.3. VAT refund
Tax-free sales are optional for the seller under applicable legislation. PICK A SHOE does not offer this service. This decision is due to the administrative and operational complexity involved in processing VAT refunds for each order. As a result, no VAT refund requests will be accepted, even for deliveries outside the European Union.
The VAT-inclusive price displayed on each product page is the final price invoiced, regardless of the Customer’s country of residence.
Customers are strongly advised to take into account potential import fees before validating their order. Any cancellation request based on such fees will be subject to the cancellation conditions outlined in Article 2.3 of these Terms and Conditions.
6.1. Legal warranty
All items sold on the www.PICK-A-SHOE.com website are covered by the legal warranties provided under French law:
• The legal warranty of conformity (Articles L.217-3 to L.217-20 of the French Consumer Code)
• The warranty against hidden defects (Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code)
These warranties apply under the conditions provided by law, at no additional cost to the Customer.
However, the warranty does not cover defects or damages resulting from improper use, lack of care, or normal wear and tear of the item.
6.2. Product conformity
PICK A SHOE strives to provide the most accurate possible description of the items offered. Photographs, descriptions and technical information are prepared with the utmost care.
However, slight variations in tone, texture, or finish may occur depending on the screen settings used. These minor differences do not engage PICK A SHOE’s liability and do not affect the validity of the sale.
6.3. Liability in case of non-compliance or damage
The Customer is responsible for inspecting the condition of the parcel and items upon delivery. In case of a damaged or non-compliant item, or one with an obvious defect, they must notify PICK A SHOE within 14 days of receipt using the contact form or by email, ideally including photos.
An exchange or refund will then be offered, in accordance with our return policy (see Article 3).
6.4. Delivery error or wrong item
If the item received does not match the confirmation of order (size, color, or model), PICK A SHOE will handle the exchange process.
The Customer is invited to report the error by email or phone as soon as the order is received. If the item is available, PICK A SHOE will offer an exchange and, depending on the case, a prepaid return label or reimbursement of postal fees upon receipt of proof.
If the error is due to the Customer selecting the wrong item when ordering (e.g., wrong size), the standard return conditions will apply (see Article 3).
6.5. Limited liability
PICK A SHOE cannot be held liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from improper use of the product.
The Site cannot be held responsible for the failure to fulfil the contract in cases of force majeure (see Article 2.6), total or partial disruption of postal or transport services, or temporary product unavailability.
6.6. Governing law and jurisdiction
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable resolution will be sought as a priority.
Failing that, only French courts shall have jurisdiction.
Only the French version of the Terms and Conditions shall prevail in case of dispute or interpretation.
7.1. Data Controller
The personal data collected on the www.PICK-A-SHOE.com website are processed by BELIFT, a French SARL operating the Site under the brand name PICK A SHOE, acting as the data controller in accordance with applicable regulations, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – Regulation EU 2016/679) and the amended French Data Protection Act No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978.

7.4. Legal basis for processing
Processing is carried out based on:
• The performance of the sales contract concluded between PICK A SHOE and the Customer,
• PICK A SHOE’s legitimate interest in improving its services,

7.5. Data recipients

7.6. Data retention period

Data used for marketing purposes are retained for a maximum of 3 years from the last active contact by the Customer.
7.7. Customer rights
In accordance with applicable regulations, the Customer has the following rights regarding their personal data:
• Right of access, rectification, and deletion,
• Right to object to processing,
• Right to restrict processing,
• Right to data portability,
• Right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (French data protection authority).
The Customer may exercise these rights by contacting PICK A SHOE via the Site’s contact form and specifying “DPO” in the subject line.
7.8. Data security and confidentiality
PICK A SHOE implements all appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of personal data, notably through encryption protocols (SSL), restricted access, and secure hosting.
7.9. Cookie Policy
While browsing the www.PICK-A-SHOE.com website, cookies may be placed on the Customer’s device (computer, tablet, smartphone), subject to their consent and preferences, which can be modified at any time.
7.9.1. Definition

7.9.4. Cookie refusal or deletion
The Customer can refuse all or part of the cookies by adjusting their browser settings. However, disabling some cookies may affect navigation or restrict access to key Site functionalities.
7.9.5. Retention period
Cookies are stored for a maximum of 13 months from the date of placement. Once this period has expired, new consent will be requested.
8.1. Ownership of rights
The entire www.PICK-A-SHOE.com website, along with all of its content (texts, visuals, photographs, videos, product pages, logos, databases, domain name, etc.), is protected under the French Intellectual Property Code and is the exclusive property of BELIFT (owner of the PICK A SHOE brand), or is subject to an exclusive operating license granted to it.
Any reproduction, representation, distribution, adaptation, modification, or reuse—whether in whole or in part—for commercial or non-commercial purposes, on any medium whatsoever, without prior written authorization from PICK A SHOE, is strictly prohibited.
8.2. Counterfeiting – Misappropriation
The unauthorized use or theft of visuals, content, layouts, or PICK A SHOE’s visual identity (including full or partial duplication of the Site or a product page, screenshots, or publishing our images for promotional or commercial use by another brand or company) constitutes an act of counterfeiting or unfair competition within the meaning of Articles L.335-2 and following, and L.716-4 and following of the French Intellectual Property Code.

9.2. Account suspension or termination
