Founded in 1975 by Inga and Claus Wiechmann in the Sønderjylland region, southern Denmark, DUCKFEET embodies the authentic spirit of mid-20th century Danish design: simplicity, honesty, and functionality. This family-owned brand is known for its iconic models, such as the 'Jylland' and 'Sjælland', which have been produced the same way since 1975, reflecting the timeless nature of DUCKFEET’s design. What works doesn’t need to be changed. Inspired by the natural shape of the foot, DUCKFEET shoes are recognized for their wide and comfortable design in a minimalist spirit, providing ample room for toes, which benefits posture and joints. Entirely handcrafted in Europe, each pair is made with premium full-grain European leather, 2.5mm thick, with 100% chrome-free vegetable tanning certified by Oeko-tex and Terracare. All their soles are made from genuine natural crepe, sourced sustainably, a robust material that absorbs walking impacts and provides a welcoming feel. DUCKFEET is a brand with a historical commitment, staying true to its values with a distinct aesthetic that embraces a generous barefoot-inspired design.
