Women’s lace-up shoes crafted from eco-friendly leather and Japanese Shibori fabric by SUZUSAN, featuring the deep navy NEMAKI pattern. They are fully lined with smooth leather and fitted with removable insoles.

The rounded toe box provides generous width and is ajustable thanks to the lacing, while the removable footbed offers additional comfort. This collaboration brings together two houses devoted to craftsmanship that stands the test of time. On one side is Trippen, renowned for its approach to long-lasting footwear. On the other is Suzusan, the Japanese textile house based in Arimatsu, where the Murase family has preserved the ancestral art of Shibori for five generations. Dating back more than 400 years, this traditional dyeing technique involves folding, binding or stitching the fabric before dyeing it, creating beautifully irregular patterns and subtle tonal variations. Because each textile is handcrafted, every motif carries its own unique character.

The minimalist silhouette of Trippen’s iconic TÖDI provides the perfect canvas for the deep navy NEMAKI pattern. Framed by vegetable-tanned leather piping, the handcrafted textile becomes the true focal point of the design while remaining understated and timeless.
